How can Hypnotherapy and NLP techniques help with sales?

In the future I will be setting up courses and workshops to help organisations to become more successful selling in the Sheffield and South Yorkshire area.  I would also be available to help individuals to become better sales people, by coaching them on a one to one basis to perfect their sales skills.

I left the Telecom department of HSBC in 2000 and over the last 10 years I have improved the way I sell my services.  Prior to having a Hypnotherapy and NLP business I had no direct sales skills, but since that time I have built up my sales skills considerably.    But even people without direct sales experience have a certain level of sales experience, a good sound personality is the best way for anybody to sell themselves.

In 2006 I worked for a local company helping them to sell Carbon Management.   In the first 9 months of working for the company I had sold £90K of business, after modelling what my sales manager did.   The problem is that you have to believe in the product you are selling and after 9 months I discovered that Global warming was a myth and I couldn’t sell the product any more.  I can only do things I believe in.

Two years ago I decided to set up a networking group in Dinnington and I found it quite easy to grow the club, the last meeting attracted 45 local businesses.   I believe very much in selling as close to home as possible, to create sustainable communities.

If I was helping your organisation to improve their sales, I would require to tailor make my courses accordingly.   I wouldn’t be able to work with all businesses, because I would have to believe in the product you are selling,  if I was going to help you.  9 times out of 10, that won’t be a problem, but I reserve judgement on that.

I prefer to work with groups of 10 people at a time, in a comfortable relaxed environment.  I can either work on your premises or hire a suitable venue close to you.

To start with I would require to know a little bit more about the problems that you have to sell your products to your customers.   I would then facilitate the group in helping each other to improve their selling methods.

We all have an internal map of the world and I would get it across to everybody how each person is wired up differently and that they have to modify their sales routine, for different people and organisations.

Nobody likes a pushy sales man or woman and if you feel under pressure to sell, all you are going to do is push people away.  With my Hypnotherapy skills, I will be able you to teach you a few skills so that you are more relaxed throughout your daily routine.   This will enable you to stay focused and in the zone and achieve better sales in the long run.

A steady pace throughout the day, is going to achieve a better return at the end of the day and pacing yourself through out the day is important.

In the morning we will work on the practical skills you will need to improve your sales target and you will be able to go away with some new ideas and belief in yourself that you are a good sales person.

In the afternoon, I am going to do a relaxation session with every body, guide you through a number of visualisation exercises and suggest positive outcomes into your subconscious mind, so that you become a better sales man.  This session will be recorded and I will provide you with a Mp3 download.  I would recommend using this recording on a regular basis. so that you can unwind at the end of an hectic day, but also so that you talk more positively to yourself throughout the working day.  Self talk is a very important part of sales and something that will improve with time, if you listen to the tailor made session I provide you with.

Sometimes as a sales person our performance isn’t as good as it should be, due to a poor self image when we were growing up.  As you learn to relax on a daily basis, you will be able to erase negative images from your past and face up to them as a more mature person.

As well as selling on a one to one basis or via the telephone, social networking is an important part of selling in the 21st century and I have gained an awful lot of experience in this area over the last 10 years.

You will improve your belief about the product you are selling and be more flexible with the different types of customers you may come up against.

Rather than trying to force customers to purchase your product, you will remove them quickly from your to do list and move on.  At the same time, you will ensure that if in the future they need your product, that they will come back to you.
